Abstract

Background. The modern stage of development of information technologies has led to the introduction of electronic educational environment (EEE) in higher education institutions. In addition, the digitalization of the economy requires enterprises to quickly select personnel. Most effectively this can be done with the direct interaction of the university, which has full information about the level of education, competencies of graduates – applicants and enterprises – employers. The goal is to develop a methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of the proposed module of the EEE “University + Employer”, intended for students and graduates to interact with employers.
Methods. As an analogue of the module, a program was chosen that functioned at the university before the introduction of the new module. On the basis of the system analysis, the methodology of the quality systems, the methods for evaluating the technical and economic efficiency of new products, the parameters defining the target effect from the use of the EIOS “VUU + employer” module are systematized. A matrix of functional parameters of a new module and an analogue has been developed for comparing them in terms of the target effect; matrix of operational parameters of the module for calculating the efficiency of the module for the current
period compared with the previous period.
Results. An approach is proposed for estimating the integral efficiency indicator of a module at the design stage (according to functional indicators) and at the operation stage (according to operational indicators). This approach is universal and can be applied to analyze the effectiveness of any product. It is shown that operational performance changes over time, and therefore, characterize the efficiency of the module over time. A method was developed for estimating the integral efficiency indicator of the EEE “VUZ + Employer” module, which takes into account the target and operational parameters of the developed module.
Conclusions. Based on the developed methodology, the integral indicator of the effectiveness of the new module “University + Employer” was calculated in comparison with the analogue, which confirmed the feasibility of developing and introducing a new module, since its integral quality indicator in functional indicators is 4,34 times higher than the efficiency indicator of the previously existing database university graduates.
